labyrinth
In between the emmanuel Episcopal Church and the Parson's Hall, you can take in the labyrinth walk and enjoy the view
turtleback South hike
A fairly short hike to the top of Turtleback Mt. via the South trail head, where, if you go just a bit further to Ship Peak, this is your view.
Mountain Biking
Rent bikes from Wildlife Cycles and take in the trails at Moran State Park. Several trails are open year round, others S 15-May 15. A real destination for MTBers.
buckbay shellfish and more
A must visit for seafood lovers. Purchase oysters, cooked crab or smoked salmon and enjoy there with a beverage or bring back and use the Bar-b-que for Halibut, prawns or salmon

Orcas pottery studio
No trip is complete without a visit to Orcas Pottery; the oldest studio in the Pacific Northwest. The setting is a delight. Don't forget the Treehouse.
Rosario resort
Here's what we do; go for a hike in Moran State Park, followed with a refreshment and snack at Rosario. Such a amazing place with so much history. Learn about Robert Moran, who so generously donated XXX acres for our first state park.
rent bikes at wildlife cycles
rent for a day, week, or just two hours. you can even take bikes to another island like Lopez or my Fav SHaw! E-bikes make it so much fun!
westsound
take a drive around the horseshoe highway and discover some great nooks and crannies on the island. this one is near a marina off crow valley road
go kayaking
lots of kayak tours on the island. only place to rent without a tour is crescent beach and cascade lake. you will want a tour to explore outside of these areas due to currents,
moran state park
38 miles of trails to hike, 4 lakes and a lagoon. incredible views from the tower on mt. constitution 2409' the highest point in the san juans
doe bay hot pools
beautiful setting and the pools are available to use for a fee. check for hour-clothing optional for some
friday harbor
park the car at orcas landing for free and walk on the ferry over to our neighbor island for a day of exploring...in summer, the daily shuttle runs all over the island. just be sure to catch the ferry back to orcas
